Group invites you to join with local artistic people on a Creative
Crawl of Portumna on Saturday July 3rd as part of Portumna’s Chamber
Of Commerce Outdoor Festival. Meeting Point will be the Marina (via
the Castle Gates) at 11.30 am. The Creative Crawl (2 hours approx)
will visit several locations (chosen for their architectural features)
within short walking distance of each other, at chosen intervals, so
your thoughts and drawings will need to be fast and focused! Whether
you are a budding Michelangelo or a daydreaming doodler, we want you
to share your experience of the local area, recording the details
around you by looking a little deeper.  Refreshing tea will be served
in the Shannon Oaks after the crawl where work will be shared. For
materials to bring along, do remember to travel light. Pens, pencils,
paint, charcoal, crayons, pastels, markers- you choose. Portumna Arts
Group will supply the paper; and also retain the drawings from the
Creative Crawl for a future Arts Project that is in the planning.
